My favourite place in my city is the old bazaar. It is in the centre, near the main square, so it's easy to get to. I love it because it is always full of life. There are hundreds of small shops, and they sell everything from carpets to spices. The smell of saffron and fresh bread is everywhere. I usually go there with my mother on Thursday afternoons, and we often stop for tea in a small café. For me, the bazaar is the heart of the city.
