    بسیار بعید

    highly با صفت‌های احتمال و ارزیابی می‌آید (likely، effective، successful، qualified). strongly unlikely غلط است. highly با صفت‌های فیزیکی نمی‌آید: highly tall ✗.

    It is highly unlikely that petrol prices will fall in the near future.

    بسیار بعید است که قیمت بنزین در آینده‌ی نزدیک پایین بیاید.

  2. deeply concerned collocation

    عمیقاً نگران

    deeply با احساس‌ها می‌آید (concerned، moved، hurt، grateful). concerned در معنی «نگران» با about می‌آید؛ concerned with یعنی «مربوط به».

    Many scientists are deeply concerned about the loss of insect species.

    بسیاری از دانشمندان عمیقاً نگران از بین رفتن گونه‌های حشرات هستند.

  3. widely accepted collocation

    به‌طور گسترده پذیرفته‌شده

    widely یعنی «میان آدم‌ها یا جاهای زیاد» و بیشتر با اسم مفعول می‌آید (accepted، known، used). largely accepted معنی دیگری دارد: «بیشترش پذیرفته شده».

    It is now widely accepted that smoking causes lung disease.

    اکنون به‌طور گسترده پذیرفته شده که سیگار باعث بیماری ریه می‌شود.

    کاملاً مخالف بودن

    highly disagree یا very disagree غلط است. totally یا completely agree هم درست است، ولی در Task 2 strongly رسمی‌تر و طبیعی‌تر است.

    I strongly disagree with the idea that homework should be banned.

    با این ایده که تکلیف شب باید ممنوع شود کاملاً مخالفم.

  5. significantly increase collocation

    به‌طور چشمگیر افزایش دادن یا یافتن

    در پژوهش، significantly گاهی یعنی «از نظر آماری معنادار»؛ در Task 2 معمولی همان «قابل‌توجه» است. قید را بین فعل و مفعول نگذار: increase significantly the number ✗.

    Regular exercise can significantly increase life expectancy.

    ورزش منظم می‌تواند امید به زندگی را به‌طور چشمگیر افزایش دهد.
